This year, the Good Hood Club is partnering with Run to Give (RTG) Toronto to raise money for the Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario (POGO). Over the past two years, Run to Give Toronto has given people the opportunity to stay active and connected while also lending a hand to those in need. With the support of over 300 participants and donors, RTG has now raised over $33,000 for local Toronto-based charities. However, this year, we are honoured that RTG has chosen to partner exclusively with POGO.
Starting May 12th, members of our community can register to participate in the virtual run, which will be held on August 7th. You will be able to run (or walk) 5km or 10km, either by yourself or with a team, sharing your journey using the hashtag: #runtogivetoronto. You will also receive a specially crafted run kit and a page to fundraise. This year's goal is to raise $100,000, and we are confident that with your support, we will be able to do so.
The Good Hood Club has created a GHC x RTG collection, including limited edition crew necks and trucker hats. As always, 50% of the profits from all sales will be donated to POGO and contribute to RTG's overall fundraising goal of $100,000!
