Kafia's Hoodie is inspired by childhood cancer champion, Kafia Ibriham.

Kafia is a two-time childhood cancer survivor turned childhood cancer nurse. Currently, Kafia works in the hematology/oncology department at SickKids in Toronto.

Kafia was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma at eight years old. She underwent several rounds of chemotherapy and radiation. Shortly after that, she went into remission. But then, six years later, she relapsed.

The journey was challenging for Kafia and her entire family. Thankfully, she recalls the vital role POGO had in her journey. She remembers her Interlink Nurse, Tina, and her POGO Counsellor, Lucy, who positively impacted her experience.

More than anyone, Kafia understands the important role a nurse plays in a patient's experience with their disease. She is committed to having a positive impact on every patient's journey.

Please note: the model is 5"7 and wearing a size L
